PURPOSE

Trade Wings has developed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its firm commitment to the privacy of its software users and their concerns about online collection of information and the use of that information. The following statement discloses the information-gathering and dissemination practices of Trade Wings for this software.

A. General

Re: is a voluntary, shared reuse marketplace which requires users to provide certain information. Trade Wings requires this information (i) for identification purposes; (ii) to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws; (iii) to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement; and (iv) for various aspects of maintaining and administering the software. Trade Wings is the sole owner of information collected on this software. Trade Wings will not share, sell, transfer, or otherwise make this personally identifiable information available to others, other than as stated in this Privacy Policy. There are several different points on the Trade Wings software where Trade Wings collects information:

(1) Registration

Before you can make use of this software, Trade Wings requires you to register with Trade Wings and provide such information as: name, company name, email address, address, password, as well as other basic contact information.

(2) Correspondence

If you correspond with Trade Wings via email or directly through our software, Trade Wings, at its discretion, may store that information for archival purposes.

(3) URL and ISP Address

Like other software systems, Trade Wings collects information about the utilization and navigation of its software by users. This information is not personalized, and is used in the aggregate only to help Trade Wings enhance our software for future use. Trade Wings uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with servers and to administer the software.

(4) Cookies

"Cookies" is a term for information that a Website or Web-based application may use to transfer to a user's hard drive for record-keeping purposes while a user is visiting a Web page. Trade Wings DOES NOT use long term, or stored, cookies for any of its Web-based software. We feel "Cookies" pose the potential for a security breach and do not in any case store information in cookies on the users local hard drive, for our clients protection. Trade Wings collects only that personally identifiable information that you provide. While Trade Wings may gather market data from other resources, the scope of Trade Wings' knowledge of personally identifiable information which is based upon your use of its software is entirely up to you. The information which you decide to provide on the software allows Trade Wings to improve its efforts to help support your usage, and to analyze software usage statistically, to improve content and product offerings, and to customize the software content, layout and services. Moreover, for these purposes, Trade Wings uses your personal information only on an aggregated basis, without the use of any information that identifies you personally.

B. Disclosure

As a general rule, Trade Wings will not share, rent, sell or otherwise disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when your permission has been obtained. Please be aware that, despite our best intentions and the guidelines outlined in this Privacy Policy, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Moreover, Trade Wings may be legally obligated to disclose certain information to the government or to third parties under certain circumstances, such as illegal activity occurring on the software. Trade Wings reserves the right to release personally identifiable information to law enforcement or other government officials, as Trade Wings, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems necessary or appropriate.

C. Security Measures

When users submit sensitive information via the software, that information is protected both online and offline. To help protect the privacy of information you transmit through use of this software, Trade Wings uses industry-standard, secure server software that encrypts the information you enter before that information is sent to Trade Wings. In addition, Trade Wings uses standard industry practice to protect all the visitor information it collects against unauthorized access. However, you should keep in mind that Trade Wings’ Web-based software operates by means of software and hardware equipment which constitute its networks, any component of which may, from time to time, require maintenance, or experience problems or breaches of security beyond Trade Wings' control.

Trade Wings offers a Reuse Cloud solution which serves the supply chain needs of the extended telecommunications industry. A great deal of information is hosted and collected by Trade Wings, and is considered extremely valuable. Thus, Trade Wings has developed and implemented a set of security policies and controls designed to protect its valuable information and systems. Our controls and security policies and measures are aimed at protecting and securing against damage to or loss of information, unauthorized access, or improper disclosure of proprietary information.

Our key security objectives include:

• Maintaining proper structures for the organization and management of information security;
• Requiring proper identification and authentication of users;
• Providing adequate protection for confidential or sensitive information, data, systems and transactions, and preventing or reducing the risk of unauthorized access;
• Safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of information and its associated processing methods;
• Requiring that the possessor of electronic information be able to prove his or her ownership or right to possess;
• Ensuring that origination and receipt of information cannot be denied, that completed transactions cannot be repudiated, and that goods returned are supported by valid claims.

Trade Wings will maintain and update its security controls and policies on an ongoing basis.

D. Updates

You may view, correct or update your personally identifiable information in the Trade Wings database by contacting Trade Wings as described in the final paragraph of this Privacy Policy, or thru our online User Management Tool. For its records, Trade Wings may retain both the original and updated information, for reasons such as technical constraints, dispute resolution, troubleshooting, the administration of this Agreement, and so forth.

E. Changes

Trade Wings reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time as it deems appropriate. Please visit this page periodically so that you will be apprised of any changes.
